What this page helps you decide: whether the item system is worth planning around yet, or whether to ignore it for now.

The official TD2 description confirms that items can be equipped to units, while community Endless tables now name several item-like rewards and urns. What still does not exist is a developer-published complete effects table or complete summon-odds table. This guide keeps equipment, unit rarity and reward containers separate so a drop percentage is not mistaken for an item stat.

How to read the Endless percentages

The rows below come from community video 0YtNQwrUIS4, published August 19, 2026. The Gauntlet W75+ rows total 98.88% and the Regular W50+ rows total 100.03%. That mismatch may reflect rounding, an omitted row or non-exclusive reward behavior, so we preserve the displayed values and do not normalize them into a guaranteed complete loot table.

What remains unknown

We do not have a developer-published complete item catalog, complete effects and upgrade table, or complete summon-odds table. A community DPS catalog and isolated urn chances are useful snapshots, but neither supports claiming every item, every effect or every acquisition route is known.

Step-by-Step

  1. Separate the terms first. Rare through Forbidden are unit rarities; Shiny is a unit variant prefix; urns are reward containers; equippable items are a different system confirmed by the official game description.
  2. The community wiki reports Top Hat as a friend-invite reward with a +5% all-unit damage effect. Confirm both the claim prompt and current tooltip in your build because this is not a developer-published item manual.
  3. Use the Endless reward table to identify where a named drop was reported, not what the item does. Plague Orb, Hand Torch, Batpack, masks, Void Orb, Demonic Effigy and Ethereal Amulet appear in one community snapshot without a complete effect list.
  4. Treat Watcher Urn and TombStone Urn as containers, not equipment stats. The Watcher Urn is reported at 0.08% in Gauntlet W75+ by both the video table and the catalog; the TombStone Urn is 0.03% in the Regular W50+ video table but 0.3% in the catalog, so quote it with the source attached.
  5. Read the in-game effect before equipping or replacing an item. No public source used here gives a complete current table of effect values, upgrade costs and compatible units.
  6. Re-check after beta updates. A named reward can remain in a table while its effect, threshold or mode changes.

Single community source for the percentages: 0YtNQwrUIS4 by Rubenakayoshii, 2026-08-19; the catalog cross-check on TombStone (0.3%) disagrees. Mode names and values are version-sensitive; totals do not form a clean normalized table.

Tips & Notes

  • The six-level rarity ladder describes units: Rare, Epic, Legendary, Mythic, Secret and Forbidden. It does not prove an item with the same-looking color shares that ladder.
  • If an item's wording is ambiguous, compare the same unit on the same easy room with and without it; do not infer an effect from the item's name.

FAQ

Is Shiny an item rarity?

No. In the evidence used here, Shiny is a unit variant prefix, while the unit rarity ladder runs Rare through Forbidden.

What does Plague Orb do?

This page can establish its appearance in one community Endless reward snapshot, not a current effect value. Check the in-game tooltip.

Are the Endless drop percentages complete?

Do not assume so. The displayed Gauntlet rows total 98.88% and Regular rows total 100.03%, which is consistent with rounding, omitted rows or non-exclusive rewards.
