Unit Rarities & Known Drop OddsThe House TD 2 · Updated 2026-09-16

What this page helps you decide: what a unit's rarity label actually tells you, and which drop odds are documented well enough to quote without pretending the developer has published a rate table.

The current community evidence supports a six-step unit rarity ladder - Rare, Epic, Legendary, Mythic, Secret and Forbidden - plus Shiny as a variant prefix. The only summon-rate table it supports is a community catalog's rarity-wide Tomb Summon rates, not a developer-published one. The catalog counts and isolated odds below are dated, non-official snapshots with their exact source limits kept visible.

Catalog source limit

The embedded catalog at thehousetd2tierlist.thehousetd.workers.dev identifies itself as build 1.6.7 and contains 87 unit rows, up from 55 in the build V8 snapshot reviewed in August. It does not provide a source citation for each row, so its rarity counts are a community catalog snapshot rather than 87 independently verified developer records. Five of the newest rows (The Master, The Beast, The Widow, The Hound, The Butler) arrived with the 2026-09-12 raid update.

Why these are known odds, not developer rates

The percentages come from one Endless reward table, individual video titles or the community catalog's obtainment notes. They refer to specific urn rows, modes, wave thresholds or creator claims. The catalog also publishes rarity-wide Tomb Summon rates - Rare 1 in 1.5, Epic 1 in 4.3, Legendary 1 in 11, Mythic 1 in 50, Secret 1 in 400, Forbidden 1 in 5,000 - and states that these are rarity-wide, not a guaranteed rate for any specific unit. That table is community-maintained and covers the Tomb Summon only.

Shiny stats are a separate question

One August 17 Rubenakayoshii source publishes seven Shiny Rare stat rows, which the tier-list page groups by the source's Total DPS values. That performance snapshot does not create a Shiny rarity and does not establish the chance of obtaining a Shiny variant.

Step-by-Step

  1. Read the ladder in order: Rare, Epic, Legendary, Mythic, Secret and Forbidden. The names and counts come from the embedded build 1.6.7 community catalog snapshot.
  2. Treat Shiny as a prefix or variant, not a seventh rarity. A Shiny Rare is still in the Rare rarity group while using the Shiny version's stats or appearance.
  3. Do not convert catalog counts into summon odds. Seven Rare entries out of 87 catalog rows means 7 catalog entries, not an 8% pull chance; the catalog's own Tomb Summon table puts Rare at 1 in 1.5.
  4. Attach every isolated percentage to its context. The Watcher Urn's 0.08% row is from Gauntlet W75+; TombStone Urn is listed at 0.03% (Regular W50+ video table) or 0.3% (catalog), and the two sources disagree.
  5. Treat the Hellbroker 1% claim as community evidence only. The video title states 1%, the catalog attributes it to the Hellbroker Urn, and the catalog lists that urn as unobtainable from 2026-09-12.
  6. Record existence without inventing a rate. The Gardener appears in an August 15 community video and is obtained by digging after the Gardener's Hat and Spade route, but neither the catalog nor the wiki gives an acquisition percentage.

Tips & Notes

  • Rarity is an acquisition label, not automatic proof of DPS, range, utility or cost efficiency. The tier-list page limits its comparison to a separate seven-unit Shiny Rare stat snapshot.
  • If the current in-game odds panel conflicts with a dated community row, use the in-game panel and treat this page as historical context.

FAQ

What are all The House TD 2 unit rarities?

The build 1.6.7 community catalog uses Rare, Epic, Legendary, Mythic, Secret and Forbidden. This is a community snapshot, not a developer-published taxonomy page.

Is Shiny a rarity above Forbidden?

No. The available evidence uses Shiny as a variant prefix, such as Shiny Rare, rather than a seventh rarity tier.

What is the complete summon rate table?

No developer-published table was found. The community catalog lists rarity-wide Tomb Summon rates (Rare 1 in 1.5 through Forbidden 1 in 5,000); other percentages on this page stay tied to their urn, mode, wave threshold or title-level claim.

What is the chance of the Secret Gardener?

A community video confirms the unit exists and the wiki documents the hat-and-spade digging route, but neither the catalog nor the wiki gives a reliable probability.
