Every Oni on Floor 4, Ranked
What this page helps you decide: which Oni encounter is the one your team is not ready for
Floor 4, Ganesha's Revenge, is built almost entirely from one enemy family, and the Oni come in a clear power order that repeats across rooms. Knowing which Oni you are facing tells you the health before the bar appears, and several of them show up in more than one room.

The small Oni are a fixed trio
Yellow Oni at 90,000, Red Oni at 108,000 and the Oni Warlord at 135,000 arrive together on wave 10 of Oni Gates and reappear later in the floor - Yellow and Red on wave 14 of Withered Garden, and both plus the Warlord among the returning bosses in Shadow Courtyard. They are 20% apart from each other in health, which is close enough that no special preparation separates them; what matters is that they arrive as a group totalling 333,000. That is a grouped wave in everything but name, and single target boards handle it badly for the usual reason.
The room finales climb steadily
Water Oni closes room one at 540,000, Shadow Oni room two at 594,000, Rot Oni room three at 657,000 and Fire Oni room four at 738,000, before Shadow Ganesha finishes the floor at 1,125,000. The four Oni finales rise by about 10% each time, which is one of the gentlest curves in the game - and then Shadow Ganesha jumps 52% above the last of them. So Floor 4 difficulty is not spread across its rooms; it is concentrated almost entirely in the final one. A team that clears Fire Oni comfortably is still not necessarily ready for the floor.
Burning Throne is the room shape problem, not the health problem
Fire Oni at 738,000 is not the largest thing on the floor, but Burning Throne is where many teams stop. It has seven entrances, the most in the game, and units can only be placed on wooden platforms above lava. Both constraints attack layout rather than damage: seven spawn points make entrance defence impossible, and restricted tiles mean you cannot compensate by adding more units. This is the room where damage per slot matters more than team total, so units with high totals assembled from many cheap copies lose most of their value.
Shadow Courtyard brings everything back
The final room returns the Angry Oni, Yellow Oni, Red Oni, Oni Warlord and the Empress during its waves before Shadow Ganesha arrives on wave 21. It has six entrances and one exit, so unlike Burning Throne everything converges and damage near the exit sees the whole floor worth of returning bosses. It is also cited as a good place to obtain Page Fours. The practical approach is to treat the returning bosses as a long grouped sequence rather than as individual encounters - they are all enemies you have already beaten once, and the challenge is sustaining through them with enough board intact for the 1,125,000 finale.
