Purge Event: Five Faction Locations
What this page helps you decide: which Purge location to grind first given the units you already own
The Purge Event splits into five locations, one per faction, and each location will only let you field units from that faction. That single restriction is what makes the event different from everything else in the game: your best team is irrelevant unless it happens to share a faction. This page covers the restriction, the store and the reward structure.

One faction per location, and no substitutions
The five locations correspond to Paranormal, Undead, Demon, Holy and Military. Enter the Paranormal location and you build entirely from Paranormal troops. This turns the usual planning question inside out. Normally you pick your five strongest units and accept whatever factions they happen to be; here you pick a location because you already have depth in that faction. Before starting, count how many usable units you own per faction rather than looking at your overall best - a player with one excellent Demon unit and four weak ones is worse off in the Demon location than a player with five mediocre Holy units in the Holy one.
What Purge Coins buy
Purge Coins spend in the Purge Store on Purge Masks, Purge Crates and Traps. Traps are the one to understand before your first run, because they are bought before entering a match rather than during it - so unspent coins do nothing for the run you are about to play. The headline item is the Purge Urn at 1,000 Purge Coins, and both Secret and Forbidden pity systems apply to it, which means the grind has a guaranteed endpoint rather than being purely random. Pity systems change the maths of a grind completely: with one, persistence converts into a certainty; without one, every attempt is independent and bad luck never gets repaid.
Two separate reward tracks
Purge Points, earned by defeating enemies, unlock free event rewards on a track that is separate from the Purge Pass. There are also Login Rewards and Challenges. The practical implication is that time spent in the event pays into several tracks at once, so the efficient approach is usually to play the location where you clear fastest rather than the one with the reward you want - point income scales with enemies killed, and a faction you can actually clear with kills far more than one you are struggling in.
Check the Rooms button before committing a run
Inside a map, a Rooms button on the right shows the Room Bosses and the Enemy Index for that location. This is worth opening every time rather than only on your first visit. Knowing whether the room ends in a single large boss or a grouped wave decides whether your faction-restricted roster should lean single-target or area damage, and with the faction lock in place you often cannot fix a wrong guess mid-run by swapping in a stronger unit from elsewhere.
Step-by-Step
- Count how many usable units you own in each faction before choosing a location.
- Buy Traps before entering - they cannot be purchased mid-run.
- Open the Rooms button to check Room Bosses and the Enemy Index for that location.
- Grind the location you clear fastest; Purge Points scale with enemies defeated.
- Work toward the 1,000-coin Purge Urn, which has Secret and Forbidden pity systems.

Tips & Notes
- The Purge asks how deep your factions are, not how strong your best team is - count units per faction before picking a location.
FAQ
Can I use any team in the Purge Event?
No. Each of the five locations only allows units from its own faction, so your roster depth per faction matters more than your best overall team.
How much does the Purge Urn cost?
1,000 Purge Coins, and it has both Secret and Forbidden pity systems attached.
Which Purge location should I grind?
Usually the one you can clear fastest, since Purge Points scale with enemies defeated and feed reward tracks that run in parallel.
