What this page helps you decide: how much health a Horror Mode room will actually throw at you, before you enter it
Horror Mode does not invent new health values. It takes the normal-mode health of every enemy in a room and multiplies all of them by a single number, and that number is different for each room. Nine values published for two Floor 2 rooms all fit this rule exactly, which means you can work out an entire Horror Mode room from one known figure. This page shows the arithmetic and what it changes about how you prepare.

The Rabbit Hole: four enemies, one multiplier
Room 4 on Floor 2 publishes four Horror Mode values, and every one of them is the normal-mode figure multiplied by 4.8168. The Dread Triplets go from 15,000 to 72,252. Scare Bears go from 33,875 to 163,169. The Tortured Teddy goes from 43,750 to 210,737. The Ravager Rabbit goes from 225,000 to 1,083,780. Four independent enemies, four different base values, one shared ratio agreeing to four decimal places. That is not a coincidence; it is how the mode is built. The immediate consequence is that you do not need a Horror Mode guide for a room once you have a single confirmed Horror value from it - divide it by the normal figure and every other enemy in that room follows.
Nightmare enemies are borrowed bosses, scaled the same way
Wave 16 of the Rabbit Hole introduces three enemies that do not belong to the room: Nightmare Ripper at 511,785, Nightmare Funny Face at 293,825 and Nightmare Freaky Frog at 842,940. Each one is the normal-mode boss of a different room, multiplied by exactly the same 4.8168. Ripper normally holds 106,250, Funny Face 61,000 and Freaky Frog 175,000. So a Nightmare enemy is not a new creature with new stats - it is a boss from elsewhere on the floor brought in at the host room rate. That tells you something practical: a Nightmare wave is as hard as the room it visits, not as hard as the room the boss came from, so the same Nightmare Ripper is far more dangerous in a high-multiplier room than in a low one.
Ripper's Workshop uses a different, much higher multiplier
Room 2 on the same floor runs at 8.4168 rather than 4.8168. Ripper himself goes from 106,250 to 894,285, and the Nightmare Funny Face that appears on wave 17 sits at 513,425 - again exactly 61,000 times 8.4168. Two rooms on one floor, nearly a factor of two apart in scaling. This is worth pausing on, because it means Horror Mode difficulty is not simply the room order. Room 2 is scaled harder relative to itself than Room 4 is, even though Room 4 finishes with a bigger absolute number.
Horror Mode compresses the gap between rooms
In normal mode, the Rabbit Hole boss has 2.12 times the health of the Ripper. In Horror Mode that gap shrinks to 1.21 times, because the easier room got the larger multiplier. The design intent seems to be pulling every room toward a similar absolute challenge rather than preserving the normal-mode ordering. For you this inverts a habit built on normal mode: there, clearing an early room tells you little about a later one, since health keeps climbing steeply. In Horror Mode, clearing Ripper's Workshop is strong evidence you can clear the Rabbit Hole, because the two are much closer together than their normal-mode versions suggest. Prepare for Horror Mode rooms as a set, not as a ladder.
One reported number is almost certainly a typo
The model is precise enough to audit the source it came from. The Dread Triplets in Ripper's Workshop are reported at 126,225, but 15,000 times 8.4168 gives 126,252 - the same digits with two transposed. Every other value in both rooms lands on the multiplier exactly, so a single 27-point miss on one enemy is far more likely to be a slip while writing the number down than a genuine exception in the game. We are flagging it rather than silently correcting it, because you should be able to check our reasoning against the original video. This is also the best argument for the model: a list of numbers cannot tell you when one of them is wrong, but a rule can.
How to use this before entering a room
Find any single Horror Mode health value for the room you are about to play - one boss from a video, a screenshot, or your own run - and divide it by that enemy normal-mode health. The result is the room multiplier. Multiply every other normal-mode value in that room by it and you have the full Horror Mode roster before you start. The two multipliers confirmed so far, 4.8168 and 8.4168, are probably not the only ones on the floor, and we are not going to guess the remaining three rooms without a value to anchor them. If you have a confirmed Horror Mode figure from Funny Face, Play Pond or the Toy Chest, that single number settles an entire room.
Step-by-Step
- Take one confirmed Horror Mode health value from the room you plan to play.
- Divide it by that enemy normal-mode health to get the room multiplier.
- Multiply every other normal-mode value in the room by that multiplier.
- Treat Nightmare enemies as bosses from other rooms scaled by your room multiplier.
- Expect Horror rooms to sit closer together in difficulty than their normal versions do.

Tips & Notes
- One confirmed Horror Mode number gives you the whole room - divide it by the normal value and multiply everything else by the result.
FAQ
How much stronger are enemies in Horror Mode in The House TD 2?
It depends on the room. Floor 2 Room 4 multiplies every enemy health by 4.8168, while Floor 2 Room 2 uses 8.4168. The multiplier is constant within a room.
What are Nightmare enemies in Horror Mode?
Bosses borrowed from other rooms on the floor, scaled by the multiplier of the room you are currently in rather than their original room.
How many waves does a Horror Mode room have?
Both Floor 2 rooms documented so far run 18 waves, with the final boss on wave 18.
